To Bleed Black (pt 1)
Stumbling through the darkness,
Bloody knuckles broken bones.
As I walk I still wonder,
Will I ever make it home?
Wondering through the shadows,
Of the sorrows I have built.
Stumbling through the valley,
Full of anger and filled with guilt.
Slipping deep into the shadows,
Where I am blinded by the light.
Yet I have found no answer,
For what is wrong and what is right.
The darkness seeps into me,
And it chills me to the bone.
Inside my head I hear screaming,
And I know it’s not my own.
The screams won’t stop coming,
Echoes pounding in my skull.
I feel my heart begin to ach,
as everything else grows dull.
I close my eyes.
The lights grow dim,
And the voices in my head will plague me till the end….
