The Bleeding

Wounds still hurt
The bleeding has stopped
you wanted her
I wanted you to want me
You wanted to play a game
from sea to shining sea
You saw bed rot
I saw congeniality
my deposition stilled
I remembered I was a lady
Feeling much like a baby
Insult fought insult
A misconception met the same
Wounds still hurt
The bleeding has stopped
you wanted her
I wanted you to want me

Wounds still hurt
The bleeding has stopped
You wanted her
I wanted you to want me
A hero of pain
Saved by a hero of destiny
Were you he
That would solve
Such a horrific mystery
That of my life
And of my sanity's instability.
Were you he
All you saw was the rotting
Wounds still hurt
The bleeding has stopped
You wanted her
I wanted you to want me
