Bleeding Cowboy

Wounded Cowboy.

Relax.

your honesty assimilating

with the crowded evergreens

Lonely Cowboy-

Regret.

subdue to overwhelming agony

tears of wheat and sawdust

shed with your boots in the sunset-

apology, confession

the perspiration of a madman

Bleeding Cowboy-

Remember.

just two cast lines

tangled in iridescent passion.
