A Bleeding Heart

A moon that bleeds,

A broken Creed,

A sun that hides its bitter face.

An ocean that cries,

In a world that lies,

and leaves heroes in a disgrace.

Sand like sorrow,

dark as tomorrow,

swallowing joy with the tide.

No light do I see,

no hope in me.

my pain no longer do I hide.

Tears on the shore,

I want this no more,

Til you offer an Angels hand.

A smile you give,

You say "go live

but first dear, you must stand"

I rise like the dawn,

Then you are gone,

but I know what I must do.

I follow your path,

and suffer no wrath,

For my heart knows only you.
