Bleeding The Moment


Hearing it again

for the thousandth rhyme,

still within the present

More inherent, more alive,

each reading

more resurgent

 

Hearing it again

the words still new,

reborn as they’re recited

Bleeding the moment

away from time

—no longer unrequited
