Bleeding out for You

We shared a kiss In which the pills you took each night Seeped into my mouth Wretched Bitter As I get filled with disgust Not eternal but temporary Because I love you No matter what I'd take you to a doctor Figure out how to start your beating heart For when it was supposed to beat in my hands It would beat for someone else Pumping your whole life into this other hand Different texture Different grip Guess it wasn't as strong as mine Because she didn't care if you flowed to me But I couldn't let you go I love you I thought you would know Maybe even feel the same But you cheated the code Cheater And my blood boils By the heat of your lies I hate it Knowing that all I am to you Is plaque in your artery And that it's only one sided Because I'd let you be with me Yet you leave Leave me with the bill The debt The pain I still love you I thought you would too I spiral in circles Knowing I can't escape your manipulation Kept in a cage They put knots in my veins Told me to only beat For me And it's not to be narcissistic But just to have thick skin Beat Thumping louder Until my veins pop And my blood flows And I only find out That my love for you still grows
