Bleeding Version of Me

Soul where are you? The world has grown numb, Only you can be my companion I feel cold I am sold, To this unforgiving world. I am naked Yet covered by so many layers of clothing Soul where are you? Hole, too deep to escape. Who am I? Identity stolen Emotions numb, Pain, the new home Can hear you calling out to me, But too clouded by these illusions. I want to live again But the word is alienated from the senses Look at me Crushing and breaking, Yet appearing as the toughest. Don't turn your back on me For I'm lifeless without you O soul! Save thy self from dying
