Blessed

Green fields and brown bricks

Outside the power of rocks and sticks

An asylum of creativity in a war zone depravity

Blessed was I to be freed from captivity

A gift from the king,

He, His son and Spirit watched over me

Carefully, meticulously, intensely crafted me

Calling me, and calling thee, to take part in his glory.

His master plan, unimaginably infallible

His word undeniably living, piercing, life inducing

Each day, on display are his wonderful works of mercy

Let us marvel at he, who in all his infinite glory loves each and every one of us.
