Blessed Angels

Dear my Blessed Angels in the Sky,

In the snow that falls, I see your love.
Each fragile flake a kiss of love
To us below from you above.
Your love is a blanket over the world
Glittering and shining for all to see.

The sun each day reminds me you are there.
Each ray of light shines from your smile.
They remind me I have no need to mourn,
For you are happy safe and secure
With a shining halo above your head.

I know someday I will meet you there
In that cloudy blessed sky,
But today I stay here below.
I wait for the angelic horn
Calling us safely home.

Until we meet again,
Your Lizzy
