Before the Blessing

I will push harder,

For I am enlisted

in this battle for which 

I have stubbornly persisted.

I will take my shield

I will keep sight

Undaunted with valor,

One day my dreams will take flight.

I'll perservere

with strength not not my own

I have to remember

I am not alone.

I'll dance for joy 

And I'll bravely smile

For I KNOW it will pay off

That I went the extra mile.

The way is provided;

I will not depart.

God knows the righteous desires

Planted deep within my heart.

"I will be with you

And my angels round about you"

Words to trust--

I'll know what to do,

I will not doubt.

There is more to me than me.

I am not the only one, because

No one is stronger than He.
