Bli Bli Bridge
Bli Bli Bridge.....
Girl with headset running,
People walking,
Some are a talking,
Crossing Bli Bli Bridge.
Pelicans,
In formation flying,
Swallows building nests,
Seahawks soaring,
On and above Bli Bli Bridge.
Buses motoring,
Roaring trucks,
And cars of all sorts,
Zoom across,
Whilst navigating Bli Bli Bridge.
Kids in canoes come paddling,
Motor boat speeding.
Man in putt-putt sits ever quietly,
When anchored fishing,
Under Bli Bli Bridge.
With the red-light comes the warning,
Traffic halting,
Sugar train loaded,
Nambour Mill now abound,
Over Bli Bli Bridge.
Maroochy comes flooding past,
Tide incoming,
Water outgoing,
All happening in the flowing,
‘Neath Bli Bli Bridge.
Fields of grown cane,
And park one side,
Castle, township,
Line the other side,
And in the middle is Bli Bli Bridge?
