A Blind Eye to See

I once was asked,

If I wanted to know,

What was destined,

In the places I go.

But to turn away,

A blind eye to see,

Is far better a life,

To live carefree.

The absence of knowledge,

A celestial bliss,

Is a life I love,

A life I thrive with.

For a gift bestowed,

That I cannot live without,

Is the blessing of ignorance,

A peaceful doubt.
