Blind Faith

Do not ask me to give him my heart,
Do not tell me to open my soul,
I’ve known of him for many years,
But with my thoughts he has no pull,
He’s stolen my greatest treasures,
Destroyed my biggest goals,
And if you want me to blindly believe,
You are nothing but a fool.
His love is a contradiction,
It comes with a set of rules,
He starves his precious children,
And lets us build murderous tools,
So do not ask me to follow him,
Although it may cost my soul,
I want to give my life to him,
But his love is just too cruel
