Blind imagination

I wish you were the person I dreamt you out be

I wish one of us knew how to communicate

But that was the bare minimum that none of us could exceed at the moment

I wish we could have worked out

You still cross my mind every now and then

But I am the one that has to look both ways

Or I will find my way stumbling through cars to get to you

But its not really you I want

Its the person I dreamt you out to be

I wish I found out sooner

 or maybe I already knew

That someone I wanted you to be

But the pedestrian crossing fog cleared

And I realized that you were never my destination

I let my imagination run me blind again….

This will be the last poem about you

-xoxo sunshine
