Arm in arm, we walk leaning upon one another

If one stumbles next to me I’ll just let go

As long as I am standing very few will bother

As my need for admiration very few seem to know

Wherever we are going does not mean too much

As long as we are moving there must be some life

Very few will ever question about purpose as such

Until we run out of gas far away from the civilized

Lost in the desert of our own choosing

With sand in shoes and teeth and water long gone

The songs of yesterday we now are loosing

As depression replaces happiness in reality overdone
