Blinded

Just one glance and my heart rate quickens
another  look and my mind is stricken
I cant help but to run back
as love from you is honored on a plaque

Your embrace blankets me from seeing the truth
everything you do has the same excuse
Why'd you kiss me? "Because I love you."
Why'd you hit me? Because you love who?

I can not continue to be blinded by your lies
or binded to you by a love in disguise
My pain has enclosed my understanding
it's "because I love you," that I don't love a thing

Trust determines our forever,
choice dictates wether we'll dissever
With all relationships come pain
but love is a bond that holds no vain.
