blinders

I'm tired of these fucking stereotypes

dictating how I feel and act

I shouldn't like English

I should be petite and quiet

I should study, study, study

Well I fucking done

finito, over it

I like to party

I like donuts with the creme and everything

I have the loudest fucking mouth in the room

I love to write

but no all you see is yellow

You with your blinders on

Not caring that, no I hate science and math

I'm actually quite bad

My name isn't a sound

Stop judging and start looking

at who I really am

not by the color of my skin

but the sound of my voice
