Blindfolds

Blindfolded I am led to the asphalt And blindfolded I stand Hoping these men Will pave the way Blindfolded It is so very clear My future is bland Without a hand to hold again I am a mere part of their display And blindfolded, I am a woman There is one high command That must be followed despite deign Ready to whittle away And blindfolded I am blind To the power Obscured by This blindfold

Wow! Very powerful poem. I like the significance of the blindfold, and its two-fold meaning.
