Blindly Leading

I'll never know how it was before, Before families feared their front doors, Before the ignorant idolized whores, Before television rot people's cores, Was it every bit as wholesome and pure, As the ones who saw it claim it to be?, I don't see how I could know for sure, That this Now is different from previously, I was not there to compare, The change in society, I know only that which I am aware, And vaguely know history, But I feel responsible to prepare, For the world turning to me, But how can I hope to repair, That which I cannot see?
