Blink
Blink
The worst things happen when
All I can see is the back of my eyelids
Blink
But blink fast or you'll miss everything
But how would you know? You're eyes are closed
If your eyes were open for that half-a-second
That it took you to close your eyes and then open them again
You could see that half the world
Is walking with closed eyes
Talking with closed eyes
Driving with closed eyes
LIVING with closed eyes
But closed eyes will be our demise
Shatter our lives
Feed our disguises
Why?
What's safer than inside or own mind?
So don't blink.
Maybe that's the solution.
Don't blink. Don't blink, don't blink, don't blink
Because for that half-a-second you're alone in the dark
I used to think people were scared of the dark
But are we scared of the dark or
Are we scared of what hides in the dark?
I used to close my eyes to hide
Because nobody can see me when my eyes are closed
But how would I know? My eyes are closed
And now everything is dark
And I'm scared of the things that hide in he dark
Blink
The worst things are happening now
That all I can see is the back of my eyelids
And I'm scared of the things that hide in the dark
But here I am, hiding
In the dark
Blink...
Don't blink
