In the Blink of an Eye

Goodness, my senior year is really here -

Boy howdy the end of high school is near.

So many told me the time would go so fast -

I obviously did not know how quickly it’d pass.

As a youngster I truly had no worries at all -

Just how I'd get to wrestle or go play baseball.

As this fall draws near, and my high school days are few

How I only wish I knew what all the elders do!

Growing up is not so easy and the new is thus untold

I hope to reflect and appreciate next year’s final road.
