Bliss
Bliss
Oh lonely day you will not ruin my mood
For this incredible joy has overcome me,
as the beat of a kick drum replaces that of my heart
I sing along off pitch to the words of my bliss.
The volume all the way up, shuffle on, and to my
great amusement the house all to myself.
What put me in this elated mood you ask?
Maybe it was the peace of being apart from
the ever-present troubles in life, or the
dreams that bring up memories I cherish so dearly.
Whatever the reason I can hardly manage
to grasp the full potential in this day,
when anything and everything can become positive
it is only the dark of the night that will be the end
of this marvelous day.
