Blissful Nothingness

Sad little girl, she’s  broken, can't you see the way she token

Not any amount of dope can seem to help her cope

She holds the rope, but just cant seem to find hope

Sad eyes begging for help

instead she holds back all her misery

tilting the bottle till she forgets all the memories

running through rain, praying to wash away the  pain

needing just a glimpse of the sun

a small glimmer of light, signaling the end of this tormented life.

stuck in the fast lane: sex, drugs, and gangs.

finding herself, searching for the right path to take.

but she’s lost, still going the wrong way

yearning for help, but what would it change

she jumps into the light, she never could find

blissful nothingness
