blithesome elation

when the stars spin out of control

there's nothing I can do, I know

but I've seen things I could never explain

silence can deliver me from pain

it's leaving

and maybe

there's something here I haven't considered

my skylines can be reconfigured

except I'm laughing

the sun's not shining

I'll let you down time and time again

crack my bones on the ground and then

it's easy

and maybe

I'd kill you twice

if I could just once say

what a beautiful day
