The Blocking Wall

The wall mocks me taunts me -

blocking my Path, my Journey

It won’t let me move forward -

let me move on.

It goes on-and on-and on

never Stopping, never Ending

stretching to my left, to my right

stretching out of my sight.

Towering higher-higher-higher

much too tall to see the top

much too steep to climb,

climb to the top and over.

A locked Door, sealed shut-

sealed shut without the right Key,’

shows the way on - onto the future,

I need to find the Key!
