Blood

Once the tears started to fall, And the blood stopped cold That was the day when they all Stopped to see me fold Into myself and disappear Back into the nothing that So desperately wished to consume me with fear The people just stared, to gawk at Me as I fell deeper into the abyss Of never ending pain and suffering. Of course, no one will miss That lonely little girl who sat wondering Is there such a thing as bliss? So much can come from a little love, And it could save a person’s life. Do not put yourself above Because your words are indeed a steel knife, Cutting and tearing through flesh Letting their souls escape through their wounds Slipping through the rusty wire mesh that Keeps them from being marooned In their own personal hell.
