Blood

Blood, all i see is blood. Dripping, it's dripping down. Pooling crimson at his calloused feet. He wears no shoes, auctioned off to the highest bidder. He smiles, he smiles because he knows its almost over. He smiles because he knows by the blood dripping it was worth it.

You might think you know pain, the inescapable urge to run. The searing pain of emotion, your rational mind failing you. Yet you don't know the pain of no power, defenseless against their hatred that smiled upon you.

Blood, all i see is blood. Dripping, its dripping down. Pooling crimson at his calloused feet. He wears no shoes, auctioned off to the highest bidder. He smiles, he smiles because he knows its almost over. He smiles because he knows by the blood dripping it was worth it.

In his glazed eyes I see all his lost memories, that keep him from remembering this is real. He smiles, he always smiles! This reaction makes no sense in my mind trying to comprehend how them slowly killing you lash by lash doesn't make that beautiful smile slowly fade. How can you let them hurt you? Show them that they should be at your mercy, please show them they are nothing. You are everything just please show them how you can make mountains crumble, and raise the dead.

Blood, all i see is blood. Dripping, its dripping down. Pooling crimson at his calloused feet. He wears no shoes, auctioned off to the highest bidder. He smiles, he smiles because he knows its almost over. He smiles because he knows by the blood dripping it was worth it.

I don't understand you, your message and words, are that just words to me. With no other meaning besides Webster's. Help me understand how you get away from the lies and always find the truth, how you can heal  broken souls as well as their bodies. Help me understand  why I cant let go of this pain, heart tattered as a the worn pages of my Bible looking for answers.

Blood, all i see is blood. Dripping, its dripping down. Pooling crimson at his calloused feet. He wears no shoes, auctioned off to the highest bidder. He smiles, he smiles because he knows its almost over. He smiles because he knows by the blood dripping it was worth it.
