Blood

I am not flawless because of anything I did or can do

I am flawless because of blood

Not an odd ritual but the blood of Jesus

My sins redeemed my guilt sliced off

I am flawless in the eyes of God because of sacrifice

I am flawless because of love

Love so deep it died knowing I would fail every day!

Flawless, so flawless I am seen as holy

What a bite to swallow!

How to keep my head the right size?

Humble he came and humble he died so that I can be

He did it for me so I may attempt to return that devotion

I may attempt to be pure, holy, humble and flawless
