The Blood of a Broken Heart

I got a friend with a broken heart,

Don't know what to say or what to do.

I got a friend with a broken heart,

It's reminding me of you.

I got a friend with a broken heart,

He says the hurt is the worst part.

I got a friend with a broken heart,

I can see him slowly falling apart.

Do you think tears, are the blood of a broken heart?

Cause it appears, they're the blood of my breaking heart.

I've been searching endlessly, trying to find a way out.

I've been hurting relentlessly, fighting my own doubt.

Hoping love is the cure for a broken heart.

Wanting healing to be the start.

The renewal is the first part.

Washing the blood of a broken heart.
