The Blood of Flowers

We've got the blood of flowers on our hands And our mothers may never under stand The appeal for you and I To stand together side by side Holding hands, just two girls in love Laughing with our heads thrown back in the summer sun Like any other couple If only nobody gave us trouble I stay up late at night wondering if they all know And wondering if maybe I should just go Because I know that if I remain I risk going insane Sometimes I think that true love won't find me But regardless I'm under a spell that binds me To lust and to loathe While I wait to grow
