Blood to Grape Juice
From the beggining of time, I've fought for your innocence/
But tooth and nail isn't the force to clean your sins away/
And even when that stain, that blood stain, that you've convinced yourself to be no more than grape juice, is made to have never existed,/
You still fall back into the same fatal patterens like I never even came/
Almost insane the way I only forgive you/
Even when that mercy I laid down, flowing like blood would from a wound cause by./
Shattered glass and lead tips, ripping, stripping the flesh from bone/
Even when that mercy is shown, you reject it, for the sweet taste of grape juice/
The fermented concoction, cutting in this ceromony with its carnal coniving concequences/
Acusing you, and putting the weight, heavier than the Sun, than a million Suns/
That only, the one and only Son, I, could lift off of your back/
And as I make way for my return, My Advisor pathing the way/
I see that you've replaced My blood, for the sickening, decaying taste of grape juice/
And I hate to tell you, but it wasnt even grape juice in the first place/
You were injesting, digesting, blood/
Not of my sacred variety, no/
Only the blood of dead idols, that make you as dead as they/
Remember me in your time of need children. For I am making haste/
