Blood Money

To go to school I need money.

To get good grades I need money.

For books, codes and clickers. I spend all my money.

I work two jobs. One for the money, one for responsibility.

They don't pay you for responsibility.

In sleepless nights and late shifts.

In fake smiles and passing customers.

All that money you've made. Stacking up and making you smile.

Is drained for the simple price of education.

Slitting a wrist as payment.

Letting all the work you've ever done fuel them for 4 years, sometimes more.

Bleed me, bleed me dry.

I wonder how much I'll have bled for this diploma.
