The Blood Spattered Wall

Mon, 03/20/2017 - 14:32 -- ehope12

Oh say can you see?

By the dawn’s early light

The big wall towering

Over us all upright

Whose broad bricks

And bright clay

Through the immigrant’s plight

O’er the ramparts we watched

Refuges still streaming

And Donald Trump’s Red glare

The bombs bursting in air

Gave proof through the night

That the wall was still there

Oh say! Does that

Blood spattered wall still stand?

O’er the land of the oppressed

And the home of the grave
