Blood, Sweat, and Years

It's cold outside on this snowy eve

I get into my car and crank up the heat

Arriving at the gym, I wipe off my feet

For three years now, I've had this one dream

Along the way I didn't always succeed

But I remembered why I started, and that made me believe

That I have the potential to acheive the body that I please

Deadlifts upon deadlifts bring blood to my knees

The weights are my friends, and they're all I need

Rep after rep, I continously squeeze

I get so sweaty that, once I walk back outside, I nearly steam

The day is done

But the journey to success has only begun
