Blood from the wrong person

The glass was a mistake

My body screams for the pain

For the blood to flow

But when the blood did flow

It was not the blood I expected

For the blood came from the wrong person

The person I love

For she puts herself in harm's way

For me

So it was her blood that flowed

So the blood was then a mistake

I never meant to injure ger

It was also an accident

For the blood was meant to be mine

But now I see I am not allowed

Not allowed to spill even my own blood
