Bloodlines
They say that blood is thicker than water,
it's what binds us together,
yet its many other things.
Laughing, traveling, secrets;
the times when we just need somebody to talk to,
when we question our sanity,
or just listening to music in the car with our hair tumbling in the wind.
Yes, bloodlines tie us together,
but it is everything in between that makes us a
family.
