bloody hell

This is more than a typical kind of thing

It's not an obsession, more like a wing

It's keeping me flying

Keeping me high

Keeping me soaring

Yet you ask me "why?"

You think I'm just crazy

I know that I'm not

You call me a baby

Because I've been caught

Bright red dripping down my arm

Evidence of my self harm

"I ought to fucking beat you for that!"

With those words you spat

A piece of me shattered

I watched as the pathetic remains of my soul fell to the floor

No, I won't be idle anymore

I can break through this wall

I can break through this

It's not your fault

I indulged in this temporary bliss

It's because of me

It always will be

I'm never good enough for you

The pressure in me is boiling to a brew

I thought you knew me

Oh I was wrong

You just want to control me

You've wanted that all along
