The Bloody Musician
Thud thump thud thump--
Life's musical rythms shout into my ear.
The organ leaping with love pumps blood,
And without it I am a sunflower with no sun near.
Love beats the drum in sync with mine.
The soul that mesmerizes my own--
He is my eternal valentine.
His breathe tickles me when speaking in hushed tones.
An infant in the strength of his arm--
Like a treasure I cling to him.
In his safety I am unharmed.
In love I drown for I cannot swim.
Death and love triumphantly snatch my soul.
Without him I float transparently,
And blood seeps through an aching hole.
Alone, I would lie beneath the foresty.
Soft an pink--
Like the pedals of a rose,
I sink---
Into them witout any oppose.
Thier dampness tickles me--
Until I blush.
And with my eyes I plea--
I do not want to rush.
Frosty air burries its fangs into my lungs--
As I crawl out of the earth's heart.
Toward my love I run,
And as long as our chests flutter we are never apart.
If seperated as far as heaven from hell--
Let my every limb drop like rain.
I would search for eternity rather than say farewell.
A lamb at the alter of love I would endure any pain.
He thumps the drum sticks on my heart.
Thud thump thud thump--
We must never be apart.
