A Bloody Nightmare Ago...

I saw them getting butchered; I watched them die... I felt their souls getting trapped, And I wanted to cry. I opened my mouth very agape Tried screaming as loud as I could! But nothing came out So there I stood... The newborns and innocent Lay there ever so helpless I stared at them uselessly... That knife and its sharpness... Their arms and legs flew around Followed by their heads What had brought them here? When they should be in bed! Whomever they were I wanted to scream And get away so fast From that bloody dream!
