Bloom

I sit as a bud and wait for my time

my days are filled with watching

my soul with nothing.

I feel nothing yet know all

I have no eyes and yet I see

I have no ears and yet I hear.

How can this be?

Is it magic or is it time?

I stir.

I grow.

Blooming.

Feeling.

My hard shell breaks and I feel again.

Pain.

Love.

Life.

All in one.

I have flowered

now I fade

to watch and wait

a bud once again.
