The Blooming Flowers

The flowers bloom as the sun sets, but how long until until they wither? Maybe a day, week, month, year, or more. Eventually, they'll be gone forever. Who are these flowers that seem to scatter away? Always saddening my heart and soul. How long until the next batch withers away? How long will I be ever so sorrowful? Life continues to disappoint me, filling gloom and desire. Waiting for the moment when things may change, but only finding that life can be a brutal liar. As the blooming flowers bring joy to many, I see them only as a moment of another day, because they're not at all special. For just as life, they'll soon wither away.
