Blooming Love

Like flowers in spring, my heart doth bloom, It explodes in all colors: reds, greens, and blues. When you grin, it lightens the room, Oh sweetest rose, how I love you. As we stroll down the streets, the birds sing loud. You grab my hand, we start to dance. People gather, and soon there is a crowd, All to watch the two love birds prance. Because it’s spring, there must be rain, But that doesn’t stop the laughter we share. We run through the mud, quick as a train. There’s mire on our clothes, face, and even our hair! When spring goes and winter comes, The love we have will never feel numb.
