Blotches from a Colorful Canvas

BLOTCHES FROM A COLORFUL CANVAS

With blue the world is draped, and with its hue my soul delights,

From whitewashed shores on dripping edges of roaring sounds,

Bubbling ecstasy and trickling streams,

To licking flames, a blur of blue and yellow.

With the blue the world is draped, and with its hue my soul delights,

Downy softness with silken sheets, heavy quilts, my bed replete,

Water around me sweeps, the sky above, the blue jays sing,

My soul is resting, sweetly resting, a voice whispers, "this is right."
