Blown Glass

Broken down like shattered glass

Carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders

Wishing the world would leave me aone.

Life is complicated that I know

It's hard to understand the truth because

Everywhere you look lies.

I'm broken down like shattered glass

Carrying the weight of myself in my tears

Holding on so desperately to my happiness

It could disappear in the blink of an eye.

How difficult it is

Living in this world that's so short of perfect

It's expensive and heartbreaking.

I'm broken down like shattered glass

Carrying the weight of courage in my heart

Just wishing that life would blow me into something beautiful.
