Blue
In a time before mine, I can't begin to understand.
I read the stories, I see the photos.
It seems to be a foreign land.
Love has always been around but it was misplaced
in this time of hate.
Battles were fought, emotionally, physically.
We all have a heart that pumps blood thru our veins.
We all have eyes, lips, and fingertips.
See, speak, and touch equality.
It should have never been a question.
We are equal.
