Blue

Have you ever seen a pair of eyes so blue?

So dicey and boundless; you’re afraid to fall through?

He tells you “he loves you”, but you question his truth.

Your head against his chest you listen for the boom-boom,

Tantalized, positive it can’t possibly beat for you.

Still on his chest, your phone you scroll through,

Only to come across a picture of a model with large boobs

You prop up on his lap and you say with such muse: “Isn’t she pretty..?”
Positive, that he’ll try to look for more to scroll through,

You’re staggered when covers the phone and says:

“No, she’s not you.”

He sits up to look you in the face and he continues..:

“I hope one day you’ll love yourself the way I love you”

Staring deep into the oceans of his eyes, you fall through.
