blue
sit a while and watch
my eyes fill up with
cornflowers
and bath salts and forget me nots
and I will tuck them
behind your ears
and thighs
and bite my fingertips at the thought
of you ever leaving my side.
look at the rosy sky
darling
the maple sweet sun, the
bosom clouds and notice;
everything is blue.
the sea
the wall
my hair
my eyes
the sky
and, of course, you.
