Blue

The color blue. The color of the ocean The sky above The rivers The lakes The bird in the tree clear and bright all. But lately, this color is f a d i n g. . . The oceans Awash with the blood of animals. The sky Hazy with smog. The rivers Run brown with oil from the streets. The lakes Murky and slime with pollution. The bird Flew away with the sound of a chainsaw. Where did the color go? Why did it leave? How do we get it back? ... Did we do this?
