Blue

The snow falls again,

Ice pulls at the glass,

The skies have turned angry,

Summer sunshine long past,

Hardly a sliver of sky,

A patchwork of gray consuming it whole,

And I fend off daydreams about you,

Stuck in February,

Hoping,

Praying,

Longing,

For the blue....
