Blue Bird

Blue Bird, you said if you could fly

Tell me, where would you go?

Maybe North even South

Maybe the East or West.

No, you chose to soar high

Your feathers glistening in the sun light

The wind flowing beneath your wings

Sending the world off with a sweet melody.

But Blue Bird, what troubles you?

Your free to fly wherever you please.

You don't want to leave this world behind?

Well Blue Bird, heed my words

Don't soar too high to the sun,

Don't soar too low to the ground.

Soar where you know that I'll be around

And then you can truly fly far Blue Bird.
